1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern use of the American Health Benefit Group website and the AHBG SMS program. The website is operated by American Health Benefit Group L.L.C, a Florida limited liability company doing business as American Health Benefit Group (“AHBG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the website, you agree to these website terms to the extent enforceable under applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the website. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. Browsing the website or agreeing to these terms does not enroll you in text messaging, authorize insurance enrollment, or create an insurance contract.
2. Age, location, and authority
The website and SMS program are intended for United States users age 18 and older. You must be legally capable of entering the relevant transaction. If you provide information about another person, you must have the authority required for that purpose.
Insurance services and products are offered only where legally available and through appropriately licensed persons. Availability depends on state, insurer, product, and applicable enrollment rules. Nothing on the website is an offer to provide a product or service in a jurisdiction where it is unavailable or unlawful.
3. Insurance information, quotes, and enrollment
AHBG provides insurance information and assistance; AHBG is not the insurer that issues a policy and is not a medical provider. Insurance coverage is governed by the insurer's policy, certificate, evidence of coverage, and other official plan documents.
Website descriptions and estimates are general information. They do not guarantee eligibility, a particular premium, a subsidy, acceptance, a coverage effective date, provider participation, or payment of a claim. Confirm benefits, exclusions, waiting periods, networks, prescriptions, premiums, and out-of-pocket costs before making a decision.
Submitting an inquiry, requesting a call, receiving a quote, or exchanging messages does not bind coverage or authorize enrollment. Enrollment, renewal, cancellation, and changes require the separate steps and authorizations applicable to the product. Do not cancel existing coverage until replacement coverage and its effective date have been confirmed.
AHBG may receive compensation from insurers or other authorized insurance arrangements for services, subject to applicable law. Ask us about compensation or any fee before proceeding. A fee or purchase obligation is not created solely by visiting this website.
AHBG is a privately operated business, not a government agency. For official federal program information, visit HealthCare.gov or Medicare.gov. Any required product-specific or Medicare marketing disclosure must be provided with the relevant materials.
4. Information is not professional advice
Website content is educational and does not replace advice from a qualified medical, legal, tax, or financial professional. Consult the appropriate professional about your individual circumstances. For an emergency, contact emergency services rather than using our website, email, or SMS program.
5. Your responsibilities and permitted use
Provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for reviewing application answers, plan documents, and transaction details before giving authorization or submitting an application.
Use the website lawfully. Do not impersonate another person, submit information without permission, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, scrape protected data, use the site to send unsolicited messages, or infringe another person's rights. We may restrict access reasonably needed to address misuse, protect users, or comply with law.
General forms, ordinary email, and SMS should not be used to transmit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, detailed medical records, or other highly sensitive documents. Use an appropriate secure application channel when such information is necessary.
6. Communication permissions
A request for assistance permits us to respond through lawful channels consistent with your request and preferences. Consent to automated calls, prerecorded or artificial-voice calls, marketing texts, or other regulated communications is obtained separately where required. It is not created merely by visiting the website, providing a phone number, or accepting these terms.
You may decline marketing communications and still request assistance or purchase a product. Selecting one message category does not select another. Separate optional consent choices must be unchecked by default and accurately describe the messages you agree to receive.
7. AHBG SMS program terms
Program and sender. American Health Benefit Group operates an SMS program for adults who affirmatively opt in. Depending on the consent you select, messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, responses to your inquiries, requested application or enrollment follow-ups, customer support, and marketing about insurance coverage options or enrollment periods. Only the message categories you authorize will be sent.
Opt-in. You join by affirmatively choosing the relevant optional SMS consent on an AHBG form or through another documented AHBG opt-in method that displays the required disclosures. You may choose marketing messages, service-related messages, both, or neither when those choices are offered. Giving us a number alone does not enroll you. Consent is not a condition of buying insurance or receiving assistance.
Frequency and charges. Message frequency varies with your requests, appointments, service activity, and the categories selected. Message and data rates may apply to messages you receive and send. Your wireless provider determines those charges; ask your provider about your plan.
Stop messages. Reply STOP to the AHBG number that sent you a message to cancel SMS. You may receive one confirmation of the opt-out, after which no further program messages will be sent unless you affirmatively opt in again. We also honor other legally recognized revocation requests. You may contact support below if you cannot reply or need help stopping messages.
Rejoin. To restart messages, complete the same opt-in process again or another documented affirmative opt-in. A new request for assistance or visit to the website does not automatically undo your opt-out.
Help and support. Reply HELP to a program message, email info@americanhealthbenefitgroup.com, or call +1 (877) 709-4824. For help with message charges or your text plan, contact your wireless provider.
Delivery. Delivery depends on your device, wireless coverage, carrier, and other network conditions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. AHBG cannot guarantee that every message will arrive. SMS is not suitable for emergencies or as the sole means of meeting an enrollment or other legal deadline.
Your number. You must be the subscriber or an authorized user of the number provided. Tell us if you change or relinquish it so we can update consent records and avoid contacting a new owner.
Privacy. SMS consent applies to AHBG alone. No mobile information is disclosed for another business's marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from other information-sharing categories and are not given to third parties for their independent use. Contracted providers may operate messaging or support solely for AHBG under use restrictions. Read our SMS privacy protections and full Privacy Policy.
Program changes. We may modify or discontinue the program subject to applicable law. Changes do not create new consent, broaden existing message permissions, or override an opt-out. Additional consent will be requested when required.
8. Content and intellectual property
AHBG's website text, branding, graphics, and other materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may access them for personal, lawful use and retain copies needed to evaluate your own insurance options. Do not republish or commercially exploit protected content without permission, except where law allows.
Third-party names and marks belong to their owners. Their appearance does not itself establish government endorsement, a carrier appointment, or availability of a particular product.
9. External sites and separate agreements
Links to insurers, marketplaces, government resources, and other websites are provided for convenience. Those organizations control their own content, products, availability, and privacy practices. Review their terms and notices before using their services.
An insurer's policy and applicable enrollment documents govern coverage. Separate written service agreements govern any services specifically addressed in them. These website terms do not amend an insurance contract or reduce rights in mandatory consumer or privacy laws.
10. Website availability and information accuracy
We work to provide useful information, but content can change and the site may experience interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, the website and general informational content are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or fitness for a particular purpose.
This provision does not disclaim a duty that law imposes on a licensed insurance professional, excuse a material misrepresentation, or change an insurer's contractual obligations. Contact us if information appears incorrect.
11. Responsibility and legal limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AHBG is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of general website content, third-party websites, or network delivery failures. Any limitation applies only as far as the law allows.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot lawfully be excluded, required insurance-professional duties, or liability that applicable law makes nonwaivable. You keep all mandatory consumer, insurance, and privacy rights.
12. Florida law and California/Texas protections
Florida law governs these website terms, without displacing mandatory protections of the state in which you reside. Subject to applicable jurisdiction rules and nonwaivable consumer rights, disputes about these terms may be brought in a Florida court with proper jurisdiction.
California and Texas residents. These terms do not waive privacy rights, required disclosures, remedies, or insurance protections under applicable California or Texas law. Review the state-specific sections of our Privacy Policy. Contact us first about a concern; you retain the ability to contact the appropriate regulator or pursue remedies available under law.
No mandatory arbitration requirement or class-action waiver is imposed by these website terms.
13. Changes and interpretation
Revised terms will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes receive any additional notice required by law and operate prospectively to the extent required. A change to these terms does not retroactively expand SMS consent or insurance authorization.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a continuing waiver. These website and SMS terms address their stated subjects and do not replace separate insurance or service agreements.
